J & K Concrete was founded in April of 1998, after Jack and Keri Jones were married and bought out the concrete side of his family’s general contracting business. As a child his parents owned a concrete ready-mix plant, that delivered concrete to jobsites. It was here Jack had been introduced to the concrete product and gained a working knowledge of the different concrete mix designs, how they are used and why they are important to the structural integrity of concrete.
Years later, he started finishing concrete while in high school, working after school and long nights with a man who taught him the art of finishing. He has perfected and expanded these skills over the 31+ years since he started and has passed those skills on to one of our sons, who now works with us full-time.
Jack has taken a passion for quality and perfection – which he brings to each of the jobs he is working on – to new levels over the many years in business. Whether it is decorative stamped concrete or a broom finish slab, he works hard to make sure that each job is completed to the highest standard of craftsmanship and to the client’s satisfaction. He has the expertise of working on more technical, detailed projects, and commercial jobs, along with the ability to work alongside homeowners and builders to ensure that their projects and designs are exactly as they envisioned.
Keri works in the office, communicating with customers, handling paperwork, and making sure things are running smoothly to help the guys be more efficient. Occasionally she even gets to visit some of the jobsites.
